Update:  I just wanted to let you all know that it took over a year to get my heel pain healed, and I am still in love with my Exerpeutic Folding Recumbent Bike!  Why?  Because after a year and 1/2 it rides just as smooth as when I first got it home, the seat is still comfy, and it has helped me gain my strength back in to my legs and feet.  So now……I am back to walking a couple of miles every other day, which means the world to me, because I am an outdoor kind of gal who loves taking in all the seasonal scenery.  I highly encourage anyone who is needing a safe way to exercise to give this awesome bike a try, and really how hard can it be to sit on your bike and watch your favorite show?  NO EXCUSES!  LOL

I can’t believe that we are already two weeks into the New Year, and so far I am proud to report that I have stuck to my goals of getting more organized, reading some e-books that have been sitting on my iPad for months, and getting down a few pounds…..well, more like 35!   🙂  I have to say that it gets a little harder to drop those pounds when you get into your middle 40’s, and it doesn’t help that last year I had a stress fracture in my foot.  This injury took quite awhile to heal, and I still can’t work out the way I want to, which bums me out a little, because I am a huge Zumba fanatic!

So, since I can’t get my salsa dance moves on, I wanted to share the next best alternative for anyone who is recovering from an injury or simply can’t put weight on their knees, feet or joints.  It’s my Exerpeutic Folding Recumbent Bike, which I can’t say enough good things about.

Why do I love this bike?

First of all, it has a BIG BUTT seat, which has extreme padding, it’s wide, and super comfy.  I can’t stand exercise bikes that have tiny seats, they’re just down right painful & uncomfortable.   I mean seriously, who can work out under these circumstances?  Not me!  🙂

Secondly, it’s light weight and folds up if you need to put it in a closet and out of the way.  I put mine in my closet, and I sometimes hang my uniform for the next day on it, of course I only do this after I have finished my workout!  LOL

And finally, this bike rides like a dream, it’s smooth in every level of resistance, it holds up to 300 pounds, and it’s inexpensive.   I honestly couldn’t believe the quality of this bike for the price, and it’s been a great help for me to continue to workout even though I am still dealing with several foot problems including, plantar fasciitis, a neuroma, and capsulitis. Yeah, I know…not much fun.

But, I also know that there are many people who are in my same situation, and this exercise bike is a great alternative if you need to workout during an injury, lose weight, or don’t want or can’t afford a gym membership.  I highly recommend that you click on the links or pictures above and check out the video that is also available to watch on Amazon.   I wish you all luck on your healthy journeys, and send a few encouraging vibes my way too!

Just so ya know, that some of the links above are my referral links, which means I may get a small commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you of course. Thank you for your support!   :-)
