Ever since I was a teen, I have always had an appreciation for the different decades of design, and I loved the 40’s and 50’s style clothing.
I also happened to be a lucky girl, because my grandparents after they retired, became antique dealers of costume jewelry, vintage clothing, and glassware.
In fact, I found my prom dress with my grandmother at a little vintage boutique in Northern Illinois. I knew when I saw that 50’s strap-less, pink, ruffled dress, it was the “one”! (I even had 80’s pink hair to match).
